Re-Registering Mycroft device if accidentally removed from home.mycroft.ai

You accidentally removed your Mycroft device on Mycroft Home[1] and want to re-register (pair) it?

Steps to solve problem[edit | edit source]

Remove existing paring code

rm ~/.mycroft/identity/identity2.json
  1. Start your Mycroft installation and say "pair my device" or run Mycroft CLI and enter "pair my device"
  2. Follow the instructions being told

Then your device should show up on Mycroft Home again. See more infos on device registration on official Mycroft docs[2].
